On 9/15/26 at 3:30 PM, troopers arrested Jerome McCarthy, age 38, of 12 Wyatt Street, Providence, Rhode Island for 1) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for: Receiving Stolen Goods > $1,500, Habitual Offender - Shoplifting, and Obtaining Property by False Pretenses or Personation, originating out of the Rhode Island State Police – Lincoln Woods Barracks and 2) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for: Larceny and Habitual Offender – Shoplifting, originating out of the Newport Police Department. The arrest was a result of a barracks investigation and a subsequent motor vehicle stop on Admiral Street in the City of Providence. McCarthy was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, special arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men's Intake Center.
On 9/15/26 at 12:09 AM., troopers arrested Dandre Rosario, age 30, of 406 Sharon Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for Possession of Marijuana > 2 Ounces. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Branch Avenue, in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the State Police – Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Sixth Division District Court.
