LOCATION: CRANSTON On Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at approximately 7:30AM, Members of the Special Victims Unit and the Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Joseph Garcia, age 46, of 120 Pontiac Ave, Apt. #2, Cranston Rhode Island for four (4) counts of Second Degree Child Molestation. Mr. Garcia was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and later transported to Sixth District
LOCATION: CRANSTON On Thursday, September 10, 2026, the ACI Investigations Unit charged John Sifuentes, age 43, with last known address of 128 Sweet Avenue, Woonsocket, Rhode Island for 1.) Domestic Violence- Violation of No Contact Order 3rd or Subsequent Offense. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Adult Correctional Institution Special Investigations Unit and the ACI Investigations Unit. Mr. Sifuentes was arraigned at Third Division District Court where he was granted $20,000 surety bail and remanded to the ACI.
LOCATION: CRANSTON On Thursday, September 10, 2026, the ACI Investigations Unit charged Shabree Lovett, age 30, with last known address of 74 Pembrook Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Domestic Violence- Violation of No Contact Order1st offense. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Adult Correctional Institution Special Investigations Unit and the ACI Investigations Unit. Mr. Lovett was arraigned at Third Division District Court where he plead NOLO and granted probation and suspended sentence.
LOCATION: CRANSTON At 6:00 AM, members of the Auto Theft Task Force, ACI Investigations Unit and Intelligence Unit arrested Alfino Davis, age 48, of 46 Marcy Street, Apartment 2, Providence, Rhode Island, for 1) Possession a Stolen Vehicle; 2) Possession of a Stolen Vehicle; 3) Possession of a Vehicle with Altered VIN; and 4) Possession of a Vehicle with Altered VIN. Arrest was the result of an investigation by members of the Auto Theft Task Force. Subject was transported to Headquarters where he was processed then turned over to Third Division District Court for arraignment and granted $3,000 surety bail by Magistrate Goulart.
LOCATION: Central Falls On Friday, September 11, 2026, at approximately 6:00 AM, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Gershawn Torres, age 22, of 869 Lonsdale Avenue, Apartment 3, Central Falls, Rhode Island for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant out of the Pawtucket Police Department for 1.) Breaking and Entering and 2.) Conspiracy. The arrest was the result of an investigation by the Violent Fugitive Task Force. Mr. Torres was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Pawtucket Police Department.
