At 3:00 PM, Troopers arrested Angel Duarte Vasquez, age 23, of 10 South Prospect Steet, Apartment 1, East Providence, Rhode Island for Reckless Driving and Other Offenses Against Public Safety – 1st Offense. The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and the subject turning himself in to the State Police – Scituate Barracks. The subject was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released with a future Third Division District Court Date.
At 12:57 AM, Troopers arrested Jefferson Noriega, age 30, of 41 Hampton Street, Unit 2, Providence, Rhode Island on a Providence County Superior Court Bench Warrant for an Attorney General's Request on the charge of Second Degree Sexual Assault originating out of the Woonsocket Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle top on Manton Avenue in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the State Police – Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed and later transferred to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men's Intake.
